Garde Manger / Cold Foods Chef
Tugboats at Hyannis Marina seeking an experienced garde manger / cold cook to join our team. Your responsibilities as garde manger would include some cold prepping, working the station during service, and setting up and breaking down the station. If prep work is required during the week, those responsibilities would include hot food preparation as well. We're a centered, tight-knit team with deep respect for one another and try to bring our best every day.
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen within a similar role
- Strong work ethic, strong sense of urgency, and responsibility; ability to maintain excellence in a fast-paced environment
- High standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail
- Professional with colleagues and strong communication skills
- Self-driven and curious. Being proactive is a must, as is the ability to maturely receive feedback and directions
- Experience at seafood restaurant is a big plus
